4th Grade History

Sly Park’s California History Program allows students to learn history through experiential education. Our California-credentialed teachers guide your students through our many activities designed to maximize your time and peak student interest.

• Students are engaged with our Cedar Bark House and enjoy Native American Story Telling in our Planetarium and Native American Interpretive Center.
  
  
• Students enjoy gold panning and grinding rocks at Park Creek.
  
  
• Students hike and explore on the Park Creek and Mormon Emigrant Trails.
