It takes a team to create a memorable experience for students visiting Sly Park Environmental Education Center. Some of our valuable players include chaperones and cabin leaders to help guide and inspire young minds in the great outdoors.
Some of our chaperones and cabin leaders once visited Sly Park as students, carrying with them the special memories and excitement of what it was like to encounter the wonders of the natural world. Others may be enjoying all that the education center has to offer for the first time.
We thank you for your willingness to serve and promise you’ll have nearly as much fun as the students you’re supervising!

As your time at Sly Park draws to a close, we invite you to reflect on the memories you’ve created and the lives you’ve touched. Like the teachers, parents, and administrators who came before, you’ll carry these experiences with you long after you leave.
In this outdoor classroom, you’ll teach and learn. You’ll supervise and be inspired. In doing so, you’ll become part of the living legacy of Sly Park – a place where nature and nurture combine to create unforgettable learning adventures.
