Your Child’s Home Away From Home
Nestled in the embrace of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Sly Park Environmental Education Center sits at an elevation of 3,500 feet. It’s surrounded by a tapestry of forests and wildlife.
While our guest, your child will:
- Sleep in cozy, heated cabins with bunk beds
- Enjoy private showers and indoor bathroom facilities
- Savor hearty, balanced meals in our welcoming cafeteria
Special dietary needs and food allergies
At Sly Park, we believe that every young adventurer deserves a safe and delicious dining experience. Our kitchen team is ready to cater to a variety of dietary needs, providing the fuel they need for their outdoor explorations.
To make sure we’re prepared for your child’s unique nutritional needs:
- Contact us early. Reach out to our Sly Park Kitchen staff at least two weeks before you arrive at (916) 228-2320 or via email.
- Share the details. When you contact us, share your child’s full name, school name, dates of attendance, and specific dietary requirements.
- Stay connected. Please share a reliable contact number or email. We may need to reach out for additional information.
We’re equipped to handle a variety of needs, including:
