Joni
Joni is the Outdoor Education Support Specialist at Sly Park Environmental Education Center, where she keeps the heart of the program running smoothly. Working tirelessly behind the scenes, Joni manages all things business-related for Sly Park—booking schools, coordinating registrations, processing payments, and answering countless phone calls with patience and care. She supports families through the registration process, helps students with their souvenirs, and works closely with teachers to ensure they are organized and fully prepared for their week at Sly Park. No matter how busy the day, Joni does it all with a warm smile, helping create a seamless and welcoming experience for every school community.
Cydny
My name is Cydny, and I have been working at Sly Park since 2014. I feel very fortunate to live and work in Pollock Pines, where I feel deeply connected to nature. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and snowshoeing, traveling and exploring new places, trying new recipes, and, most importantly, spending time with my family and three grandkids.I find listening to the wind blowing through the trees incredibly relaxing, and the night sky is always mesmerizing. My happy place is stargazing from the hot tub on a clear night, taking in the stars, planets, and passing satellites. I am very thankful to be a part of the Sly Park Outdoor Ed. Team!
